FDA to vets: Watch out for jerky pet treats; some linked to illness, death

Finally they take action!! since 2007, more than 500 animals died because they did NOTHING! it’s too late but better than nothing. I strongly think they have to ban on selling them. Warning is not enough because people still can see them at pet stores. I have been warning people but most of them still don’t know about this issue.

Royal Canin Recall: Mats For Dogs And Cats Recalled Due To Health Risk

“This recall involves Royal Canin branded heating/cooling mats for dogs and cats. The mats consist of a plastic sheet made of nine gel pockets and an outer, removable red fabric cover with the Royal Canin logo on one corner.”

Natura Pet Dog and cat food, treats recalled nationwide.

According to Natura, the affected products are sold through veterinary clinics and select pet specialty retailers nationwide and in Canada, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, and Costa Rica, as well as online. No canned wet food or biscuits are affected by this announcement.
